cries of a Seagull...
// paul's future
Paul has great pleasure in announcing that he has accepted an invitation from church planter leaders in Mongolia to relocate there for a significant period starting early next year. This move has been under consideration for a some while, in consultation with church leadership here, the bishop and with the team that accompanied him to the Gobi Desert in May this year. The work that he will be involved with covers a number of areas, including:
Interface: getting alongside, coaching and training Mongolian church planters, including the ones we already know in the Gobi Desert, and others. The aim of this will be to help produce missionary leaders who can reproduce
(ie train more leaders), and sustain themselves over the long term. This has been identified as one of the key needs of the Mongolian church planters and their co-ordinators.
Global Profile: Raising the profile of the Mongolian church planters via the Radstock network, enabling churches in other countries to connect more meaningfully with the work. The aim is to facilitate further church planting and local sustainability through Micro-Enterprise Development and other initiatives. St Mary's Mongolia Team are planning a follow-up business sustainability visit in the next year.
Strengthening Network Development with the Siberian and Urals church planters in Russia, working amongst some of the most unreached people-groups on earth, but travelling into Russia from Mongolia rather than from the UK.
