Paul has been in full-time ministry for 8.5 years,
firstly at Christ Church in Harrow, and currently at
St Mary's Old Harlow, England.

From a family of 9 (three brothers and three sisters), Paul gave his life to Christ at the age of 17 at a youth camp in Devon, England. As such he understands the value of reaching a generation that is absent from many of our churches today, and engaging them with the call and commission of Christ. In his networking role with Radstock, he has been privileged to link a youth group attached to a large church in Romford, England, with a youth cafe church outreach in Udmurtia in central Russia. See the Russia and Mongolia pages for more information on Paul's work overseas.

Paul's working background the other side of the 'collar' was in market research, a crucial training in understanding the changing currents in our culture today and how the church can relate the gospel to them.

In his role at St Mary's Old Harlow, Paul oversaw the development of our church's Evening Worship into a service with a cafe-style hospitality. More recently, he led the implementation of a computerised data / video projection system as a central part of the worship at our main activities.

Paul has overseen a fundamental review of our church's outlook on the wider world. Our vision of mission now includes the networking mission relationships so cherished of the growing number of churches in the Radstock network, as well as continued support of mission partners through the traditional mission agencies. Early in 2006, we became a Fairtrade registered church, reflecting our wider mission concern for justice in production and trading relationships. Concern for the suffering church worldwide is also part of this wider vision. Paul is also Adviser on World Mission for Harlow (Anglican) Deanery.

Paul's thinking about what it means to be church today has been substantially influenced by his involvement with the New Wine and Radstock networks, and with various currents seeking to connect the church with post-modern culture. He subscribes to the Evangelical Alliance basis of faith.

Paul is single, loves the company of his friends, speaks Russian, and enjoys travelling, mushy peas, walking, cycling, and computers.
